i think this terminal was built hastily and many areas were not factor in. since it was going to be used by low cost carrier, maybe everything was done based on a cheap concept. as i notice from the layout plan and the floor area, it seems more like a huge empty factory with limited features and facilities. perhaps the mind set for those planning for the terminal is short sighted. and i guess cheap flight is to carter to not rich people and there's no need to to really look after their needs. and was surprised that the food cost is same as to the main terminal. at least we know one thing is on par with the main terminal.

I see a low of complaints from your article about the new LCCT. First of all, it is great that we could open the new LCCT so soon, even slightly earlier than Singapore. I guess now the luggage storange, taxi tout, lack of ERL connectivity, insufficient eateries problems will be eventually sorted out soon by the LCCT management, hopefully.

I dont understand why only authorized taxi can take passengers from the airport. Is this the rule regulated by government? I hardly see this kind of system in other airports. I travel a lot and i really sad to see this everytime when i back in Malaysia. Sometimes it takes me more than 20 minutes to wait for the taxi. The authorized taxi drivers dont give excellent services. No greeting at all. Always speeding and some even talking to the phone while driving. And the taxi fare is more expensive than normal red taxi. Should we pay higher fare for having all these. I personally dont like to see the presence of taxi touts and they do give bad impression to foreign visitors. However, this for sure will not happen if LCCT open the door for all taxi. This should be the way running LLCT rather than protecting someone for their own interest. LCCT caters for budget travellers but things are so expensive there. How LCCT be the hub of low cost airline if things are so expensive?
