For me, personally, if am not in a hurry to go home ... then I would get a cheaper rate taxi fare to go home. As long as I reach home safely.

Faster...I wouldnt say that it is safer tho...this guy was driving about 140-150 the whole trip, taking turns widely, yelling at the toll booth attendants...
Not to mention that we ended up paying 2x the normal cost.
Picking up passengers in uninsured taxis...that sounds illegal to me...maybe the police have no power to enforce things? I hear that DBKL cannot enforce traffic laws either....
Instead of developing islamic journalism centres etc etc etc, about figuring out ways to get the police and local government to exercise their powers and enforce their responsibilities.

another thing that the LCC terminal needs to improve on, besides the other known irritants, is a proper baby feeding & diaper change room. parents with babies & toddlers have to make do with a plastic, drop-down table located at the entrance of the ladies toilet besides asian kitchen. no piped water or WC to wash the kiddos. and since it's at the entrance of the ladies toilet, it could be quite uncomfortable for the father changing the diaper or the ladies using the toilet.
malls have this facility, in fact plus expressway has them at the Sg Buloh and Tapah R&Rs.
