AirAsia

AirAsia operates scheduled domestic and international flights and is Asia's largest low fare, no frills airline. AirAsia pioneered low cost travelling in Asia. It is also the first airline in the region to implement fully ticketless travel and unassigned seats. Its main base is the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Air Asia uses LCCT as the main base.

 

Firefly

Firefly is a low cost airline and a full subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines. Its base of operations and hub is Penang International Airport. The airline's first flight was on April 3, 2007 to Kota Bharu.

Firefly flies from two hubs, Penang and Subang in Kuala Lumpur. The domestic flights from Penang are Langkawi, Kota Bharu, Subang, Kuala Terengganu and Kuantan 14 times weekly as well as to Koh Samui and Phuket in Thailand seven times weekly. The flights out of Subang are Penang, Langkawi, and Kota Bharu.

Firefly does not provide services to the LCCT.

 

JetStar Asia

Founded in 2004, Jetstar Asia is a low-cost airline based in Singapore. It operates services to regional destinations with its main base is Singapore Changi Airport.

JetStar Asia does not provide services to the LCCT.

 

JetStar Airways

Jetstar Airways is a low-cost airline based in Melbourne, Australia. It is a subsidiary of Qantas, created in response to the threat posed by low-cost airline Virgin Blue. It operates an extensive domestic network and regional and some international services. Its main base is Melbourne Airport. Jetstar also has stakes in sister companies Jetstar Asia/Valuair in Singapore and Jetstar Pacific Airlines in Vietnam.

JetStar Airways does not provide services to the LCCT.

Tiger Airways

Tiger Airways is a low-cost airline based in Singapore, with its primary hub at Singapore Changi Airport. Incorporated in September 2003, it is currently the largest low cost airline operating out of Singapore in terms of passengers carried.

Tiger Airways does not use the LCCT. It completes 7 flight weekly to KLIA.

 

ValueAir

Valuair is a Singapore-based low-cost carrier. It was launched in 2004. Valuair today only flies to Indonesian destinations - namely Jakarta, Surabaya and Denpasar.

Valuair does not provide services to the LCCT.
