Missing flights because of poor bus service

Monday November 23, 2009

I AM disappointed with the service provided by Transnasional Sdn Bhd. My bad experience began when I wanted to buy a ticket from Melaka Sentral to the LCCT on Nov 14.

I went to the counter and asked for a ticket, but the salesperson asked me to come back 30 minutes later because she only sold tickets for buses to Kuala Lumpur at the time.

Half an hour later, I managed to buy a ticket for a trip to the LCCT.

The person in charge told me the journey would take approximately two and a half hours.

I waited there with many others until 8.50am – way past the due time – and only then did the bus arrive. The driver treated us badly and even shouted at some of us.

There were a few Indonesian tourists who complained that the service was very kasar (rough). It really brings down our country’s image.

The bus started the journey only at 9.10am, and I missed my flight which was at 11.15am.

If Transnasional wants to continue providing services to the LCCT, it had better buck up. Many people will miss their flights because of its poor service.

WILFRED,
Malacca.
